Scientific meetings
The Zoological Society of London holds a series of Scientific Meetings and Symposia each year.
The topics are varied, covering a range of conservation and environmental issues, and the speakers come from institutions and universities throughout the UK and overseas.

Meetings and booking details
All meetings are held in the Meeting Rooms of the Zoological Society of London, and are open to members of the Society and the general public. See our meeting room maps for address and direction details.
Scientific Meetings
Start at 6.00pm and close at 7.30pm. Admission is free and open to members of the Society and the general public. A dinner or reception follows each Scientific Meeting; to make a dinner reservation, please download and complete the dinner booking form and ensure payment reaches Joy Hayward by 5pm on the Wednesday before the relevant meeting. Symposia
Last two full days. Admission is by ticket and there is an attendance fee (reduced rates for Society members and for students). Find out about proposing a symposium.
ZSL/WCS Conservation Challenges for the 21st Century
A series of events aimed at highlighting how the collaborative work of ZSL and WCS tackles some of the major challenges that we currently face in field conservation. Admission is free and events will be open to members of the Society and the general public. Format and timings for events in this series may differ so please see individual event page for full details.

Abstracts of talks presented at Scientific Meetings and symposia will be made available on the event page when possible. Please see information on previous programmes for 2007-08 and 2006-07 events.
Stamford Raffles Lecture
The Stamford Raffles Lecture is a prestigious annual event established at ZSL in 1995.
