An adoption will allow you to find out more about your favourite animals by getting exclusive access to a behind the scenes video, a ticket to come visit them at the zoo and regular emails telling you what they have been up to. It’s like owning a zoo, but with none of the poo!

Redeemed your adoption already?
Popping back for another look at your animal’s information page or looking to redeem your e-ticket? Then please log into the ZSL website with your email address and password to access your personal ZSL Adoption Centre. Once you are logged in please click on your animal's picture under 'Your Adopted Animals' which should appear below.

Our adoptions can be brought online for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Welcome emails will be sent to the recipient either instantly or on a selected date which will enable them to redeem their adoption packs online. What’s more, as nothing is posted out it’s a great eco-friendly present too.
About your adoption
The adoption is for one year and the online adoption pack includes:
- A free e-ticket to the zoo - which can be redeemed online so you can visit your adopted animal
- A personalised homepage all about your adopted animal – full of fun and fascinating animal facts, photos and film footage
- A personalised adoption e-certificate – which can be downloaded and saved onto your computer or printed out and proudly displayed
- Subscription to Wild About Magazine - ZSL’s quarterly magazine
- Regular email updates – sent straight to your inbox to let you know what your animal has been up to
ZSL is a registered charity that receives no government funding. Your donation will help us continue our global conservation work for endangered animals and their habitats, as well as the running costs of ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos.
Please note:
Our adoptions are online gifts. You will not receive anything in the post, apart from our regular Wild About magazine.
Should your adopted animal pass away or it become necessary to relocate it to another zoo, ZSL will contact you as soon as possible.
ZSL reserves the right to continue to use your donation and offer an alternative animal adoption.
